Hello!
First of all, thank you very much, @rainerViewing profile: rainer, for your efforts!

The engine control units look unchanged, and there's nothing visible on the connectors to indicate that they were ever removed or modified. I also haven't found any evidence of a potentially installed "dummy" module.

After a complete error scan, the following error was displayed:

"Control unit for throttle valve: electrical fault."
P3243 - 002 - Lower limit exceeded."

Could this potentially lead to an increased fuel injection amount because the engine control unit (ECU) receives a false reading?

Regarding the offer "someone might come and take a look or dismantle it," since the vehicle is located in Austria, near Vienna, I believe it will be difficult for anyone here on the forum to simply drop by.

I think it's a good idea to purchase your own diagnostic tool. Your car has a lot of potential in that area, and if you plan to drive it for a long time, it will quickly pay for itself.

You also can't easily get SW updates here, maybe it's due to your "friend bonus." The update for the BPC required a lot of explanation, and getting to the TPL was even more difficult. My experience: if you tell them exactly what it is and what they should do, they become unfriendly, nervous, and stonewall you. You have to act clueless, describe the problem in a way that leads them to the TPL, and then motivate them to get started. 25 minutes is good, though; the bus was stuck for 2 hours while it was being fixed, and I had already tried all the coffee specialties from the free machine... and the customer restroom was a mess icon_sad.gif. No, the dataset is definitely manipulated.

Best regards, Rainer.

I'd like to see if I can get an original file for that, and then you can get rid of the junk data in your control unit.

The software version is currently up-to-date. It's a new version, so an update is not possible. It needs to be installed using a tuning tool. icon_wink.gif
