Opening a vehicle door should normally not take longer than 5 minutes.
I have been working for the ADAC roadside service for over 6 years now, and I know what I'm talking about.
That with the hammer was completely nonsense. That with the air cushion would have been an option.

However, it doesn't necessarily have to be the control unit that locks the car; it could also be that the microswitch in the lock is faulty, and when the door is closed, it sends the 'lock' command. In this case, it would be a fault of the vehicle, and therefore Mobi-Garantie would be applicable ==> The invoice would then need to be covered by VW.
