Sharan AC: Repair, Problems & Solutions

Hello, is it possible to add a remote control central locking system to a VW Sharan from 2003 that currently has a central locking system without a remote?
It has a remote control that allows for free switching (coding).
I once looked at a schematic diagram and didn't see any difference, as the function is implemented in the multi-stage circuit.
Could I order a key with a remote control and would I only need to have it programmed?
