Opel Astra G won't start - Troubleshooting.

"Hi, I have an Opel Astra G CC with a 1.7L DTI 16V engine with 75 horsepower. It suddenly stopped running and hasn't started since. There's an error code stored in the diagnostic system that I can't clear. The code is P1690, which indicates a low voltage issue in the engine control system.

I've read that it could be the high-pressure pump. When I open the fuel line on the high-pressure side, no fuel comes out when I try to start the engine. I've now manually supplied fuel to the fuel rail after the filter, but still no fuel reaches the injector. I've also disconnected the pump control unit and checked the power supply and ground connections, and they seem to be okay.

Has anyone else experienced this problem before? It would be great if you could help me."

Can you extract more information about the error? For example, can you convert it into a VAG error code, or identify any related pending errors?

The only thing I can think of is an electrical problem.

Hi, thanks for your efforts. Today I removed and opened the diesel pump control unit, and sure enough, there was a faulty solder joint at the second solder point of the red/blue input cable on the circuit board. I cleaned it, resoldered it, installed it, and it's working perfectly.
