Hello everyone,

I was just about to check out what features I can enable by coding on my new Alhambra.
Unfortunately, I was unable to establish communication with the vehicle's network and comfort system.
Do I have a problem with the vehicle, or with VCDS?

See Autoscan.

Thank you very much.
Martin.

Quote:
2009+ Golf/GTI/Jetta and similar models, no communication with control unit address 46 or 09.
Many vehicles from 2009 onwards integrate the addresses and functions of the comfort control unit (address 46) into the body control module (address 09). Therefore, access and configuration are performed via the body control module. Note that the vehicle must be unlocked and locked, and the ignition must be ON in order to gain access. This behavior is therefore normal.

Oh, thank you very much!
I had the ignition on, but the car was locked!
Okay, I'll test it again tomorrow.

Really?

BCMs become dense when you increase them?

I have to test it sometime on Monday.

Actually, one cannot draw that conclusion.
