Can a faulty coolant temperature sensor be identified using VAGCom? Based on my observations, it appears that only the values from the combination sensor are displayed for the instrument panel, and at least the values for 17 instruments and 01 engine seem to be perfectly synchronized. Or is the temperature reading in 01 engine actually the second value provided by the combination sensor?
Greetings.

The combination instrument uses one sensor, while the engine control unit uses a different sensor.
'With my ALH, they run synchronously, but there's a difference of a few tenths of a second between them (within the measurement accuracy).'

I wouldn't have expected the donors to be so precise; I'll double-check it, but apparently everything is fine with Synchronicity.
Thank you.
