Ask the LLM about gasoline engines - which maintenance work is required?

I have a question for you all, as my current VW Touareg V8 (4.2L - AXQ) has been driving a bit strangely lately.

The automatic transmission shifts up much earlier than before - almost as if the engine is no longer producing enough power/torque. In the highest gear (6th gear) on the highway, you can feel a noticeable jerk when trying to accelerate further from 180 km/h.

Of course, there's nothing in the error memory.

With LPG, I switch to it at the latest at 4500 RPM or 124 mph (200 km/h) to prevent any damage to the engine, and also when using the kick-down function.

A local repair shop said:
'You have two mass airflow sensors (MAF sensors) installed and they already have 160,000 km on them. Are those still the original MAF sensors?'

KW10/2005 and KW 13/2005.

The fuel consumption has decreased from approximately 16-18 liters per 100 kilometers at a speed of 100 km/h to about 12 liters per 100 kilometers.
