Yes, I saw that at full speed! But I can also drive it again.
It also seemed too low to me. I thought it would be better to be higher.
Can the hoses on the sensor be swapped? I replaced it initially because it showed up in the error memory. I'm going to blow out the lines now.
edit: you're absolutely right.
Difference in LL 0, then -2 when a thin hose is connected to the sensor.
set to "idle," maximum speed set to 12, resulting in the read values of 79..80 being correct.
The tubes have different thicknesses and cannot be interchanged. If they can be blown through, they are clear.
I plugged in the old DDS again, and it shows -25 without the engine running. The new one shows 0, and another one I have shows -6.
"However, I think 80 mBar (if that's the unit) is too low; I would have expected more."

If the vacuum pressure in the VTG sensor begins to drop significantly, even with continuous activation, this is a clear indication of a fault in the vacuum system or the pneumatic components of the charge pressure control.

The vacuum pressure inside the can decreases as the TV signal strength decreases, not despite a constant signal strength. This was measured today.
How does a manifold leak manifest itself? Wouldn't the lack of exhaust mass lead to a decrease in boost pressure, and wouldn't that cause the VTG (Variable Turbine Geometry) to close, thus increasing TV (Turbulence Value) instead of showing decreasing values like I'm experiencing? I don't quite understand the connection.

Exhaust manifold leak: It will smell strongly from the engine compartment, especially when stopped, such as at a traffic light, or when standing in front of a running engine icon_idea.gif.

Often, in this 5-cylinder engine, the exhaust manifold is warped, or the EGR cooler between the exhaust manifold and the EGR cooler has a crack, which causes it to leak. Less frequently, there may be a leak between the turbocharger and the exhaust manifold.

Thank you, I've just been reading pages and pages about T5 exhaust manifold problems, especially for models from 2003-2005.
Is it possible to access the screw relatively easily? It looks like the AGR cooler will probably need to be removed as well.
I've actually focused more on the vacuum system.
It seems to be less and less of a cause, but I'm not thrilled about stripped studs.

Usually, the broken stud comes out relatively easily after removing the manifold, especially if it's long enough to be gripped with pliers.
Otherwise, if it's deeply damaged, you might need to weld on an old part icon_idea.gif. So far, I haven't had to use a drill on any stud bolts on a T5, knock on wood!

Due to the limited space, it will likely only be possible with a right-angle drill, if at all.

Hello, here's the solution:
A cube had fallen out of the catalytic converter and wedged itself in front of the sensor at the catalytic converter outlet, but it did not block or significantly impede the flow. Consequently, the differential pressure was probably not noticeably high. However, there was also a leak between the exhaust manifold and the turbocharger inlet, which caused insufficient turbo boost and an exhaust smell.
Thank you for your help. When the exhaust pipe was temporarily disassembled for inspection, the catalytic converter cube was already visible inside the catalytic converter. The catalytic converter was made up of many small, interconnected catalytic converter cube pieces.
Best regards, Klaus.
