Crankshaft Bolt for TDI 90 PS (ALH)

'Hi, does anyone know the torque specification for the central bolt of the crankshaft (the one that secures the toothed wheel for the timing belt), and the size of the socket needed for the bolt? The bolt has a 12-point spline head. Is this also possibly a stretch bolt, and does it need to be replaced? Car: Audi A3 TDI 90 hp (ALH), year 2001. Thanks.'

Okay, so for the 1Z, AHU, AEY, AFN, AVG, and ALE engines.

90 Nm + tighten a quarter turn (90°).

The screw must always be replaced. The threads and contact surfaces should be free of grease.
A 19mm Torx socket fits onto the screw head.

For ALH engines, the torque specification is 120 Nm, plus an additional 90 degrees of tightening.
Always replace screws.
