To upgrade the CT manual, the entire blower unit must be replaced, as well as the wiring harness that runs into the engine compartment.

While it's technically possible, it's too expensive without a donor vehicle to source spare parts from.

...so it makes sense to invest the extra 200 euros for a climate control system (if you need it) when buying a new car.
