...I have a question.
The Seat Ibiza TDI PD 96KW is available in the Signo version with Climatronic, while the Sport version has a semi-automatic air conditioning system!
Please provide the text you would like me to translate from German to English.
Can this be easily upgraded to a Climatronic system by simply purchasing the electronic module? Do the connectors fit? Is there a wiring harness there?
...this topic has been discussed before, but I still don't understand it.
Thank you in advance for your information!

Hello,

I can only speak about the G4 here, and it's missing not only the control unit, but also all the wiring harnesses and the countless actuators. I think the situation at Seat isn't much better.

Hi,

To upgrade the CT manual, the entire blower unit must be replaced, as well as the wiring harness that runs into the engine compartment.

While it's technically possible, it's too expensive without a donor vehicle to source spare parts from.

...so it makes sense to invest the extra 200 euros for a climate control system (if you need it) when buying a new car.

Monchi.
