Passat 3C air conditioning not cooling (Solution)

Here's the problem: The air conditioning is no longer working. In the garage, I checked the sensor readings on the cold engine – they all seem plausible except for the sun sensor, which is always showing a value of 0.

The pressure was 4 bar.

After starting the engine and letting it idle, the pressure increased to approximately 8 bar. The cooling fan only runs for a short time.

What could be the reason for that?

Edit: I repaired the temperature control flap motor on the driver's side and performed a basic adjustment.

Why is 0 implausible? You probably don't have any sunlight in the garage. Artificial light doesn't have the same spectrum as sunlight, which is what the sun sensor measures. Therefore, a reading of 0 is quite plausible.
