Cause:
Due to insufficient suction pressure, the refrigerant in the circuit becomes so cold that temperatures below freezing occur on the surface of the evaporator, causing any condensation to freeze and the entire evaporator to ice up. This prevents any airflow. By pressing the ECON button on the climate control panel, the compressor is switched off and the evaporator defrosts. If you continue driving after that, the evaporator will freeze up again!

Solution:
