Switchboard Breaker Fault: Troubleshooting Guide

Hello VCDS users,

I'm Arthur from South Tyrol, and I'm a complete beginner in the VCDS area.
After buying my new Golf last year, I also purchased the HEX-V2, mainly to make some smaller programming adjustments. However, nothing too complex, so as not to mess anything up on my new car.

Last weekend, however, I was surprised to find an error code when I accessed the car's diagnostic system (I hope the file uploads correctly).
Okay, I wanted to quickly ask what "BAP_TEL_0x28 No Communication" refers to. Is it simply a connection error between the phone and the "radio," or is it something more serious?

It could be a software bug, a hardware failure, or a faulty cable connection. I wouldn't necessarily overreact to that.
It's a shame that "BAP_TEL" doesn't convey much meaning; perhaps it has something to do with the telephone?

Thank you for your quick response.

So, I also thought that it was probably just a connection issue between the two devices. However, I'll check it again in the next few weeks.

Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find any more specific information online about what "BAP_TEL" refers to, so I thought I would ask here. Maybe someone else has encountered the same problem.
Maybe it was just a Bluetooth connection issue or something. Let's see... I'll check it again after I've done a few more trips and I'll report back if I find anything out.

Since the error appeared, 4000 km have been driven. I would just let it be and observe. Sometimes, modern vehicles display error messages without any apparent cause. I've seen this happen with an Audi A4 8K (year 2014) and a Golf VII (year 2018).
