Hello everyone,

Due to an inaccuracy in my AFN code, I was overly enthusiastic and replaced the lower seal on the quantity control unit. I loosened the three screws, marked everything, and reassembled it. However, I didn't log the actual injection amount at idle before the repair using VCDS. The engine runs smoothly, starts well, and has normal fuel consumption, but I feel like it produces slightly more soot than before. Since I found many different values in searches and forums that range from 3 to 5.5 mg/stroke, I wanted to ask if anyone here knows the exact values for the AFN (warm engine, without any electrical load).

Thank you very much.

4.75 mg per dose.

Have fun setting it up! X

Hello.

Thank you for the precise information! I actually adjusted the fuel injection pump based solely on soot emissions and driving behavior to 4.6-4.8 mg/stroke. Before that, it was set at 3.8 mg/stroke, but it produced excessive soot, and anything above 6 mg/stroke results in a poor warm start.

Thank you again for the information; I can just leave the pump as it is then!

Best regards,
