Hello everyone, does anyone know of a reliable provider where you can have your PD elements refurbished?

Best regards,
Tobias.

You can replace the injectors yourself, but after replacing them, you can't properly check their performance without the appropriate testing equipment.

"I just need to find out where to get the nozzles."
But I'd rather not deal with that.

I found the two shops.

https://www.diesel-technik-biberach.de

They would replace my components, either with Firad or Bosch, at a cost of about 100 euros per component.

Or https://dieselfixneuss.de/

They offer to replace the PD elements, and the cost is supposedly between 300 and 400 euros, using Bosch injectors.

I have no idea how realistic these prices are, but I think they might be sourcing the nozzles in such a large quantity that it could make sense.

And overtaking itself shouldn't be that difficult.

What do you think, are they reliable? The opinions online are mixed, but generally leaning towards a positive view of Biberach... although "Dieselfix" on eBay has 24,000 reviews and not a single negative one.

You can find nozzles at any Bosch service or accessory dealer. If I remember correctly, they cost around 30-50 euros each.

Hello,

I wouldn't even disassemble PD elements myself, even just once.
"If you know how, it's not magic. However, to do everything correctly the first time, you often need specialized tools (which I built myself) and prior knowledge, depending on the component. Nevertheless, on my first attempt, I damaged the guide pins and more. That usually means it's the end of the road for DIYers..."

It's definitely worth having the tires changed and inspected for 1-2 cars, as the necessary investment wouldn't be worthwhile otherwise, and the risk of errors is high due to a lack of experience and practice.

Best regards, Rainer.

I probably wouldn't do it myself. But, as you say, it's probably not witchcraft... so it should be reasonably priced. At Bieberach, the overhaul costs around €400. I have another offer for over €1000.
What is realistic?

Hello,

It depends on what can be done and what is possible. After all, solenoid valves also have a certain degree of wear and tear.

Unfortunately, I am not familiar with either of those companies.

Best regards, Rainer.
