Cooling circuit ventilation not starting - safety error

I've been a reader here for over 8 years. This forum is invaluable! Unfortunately, I'm having a problem with VCDS when trying to bleed the cooling system. The process stops immediately after it starts. "With the 'Aborted (security reasons)' error."

I have no error codes in the car's diagnostic system. How can I figure out why the ventilation program isn't starting? I tried running the turbocharger test, and that works. I thought it might be due to the open door or open hood, but it doesn't seem to be the case.
