'Come on, it doesn't really matter! I can only tell you what's in the AKTE system. The price update is fairly recent. Of course, bumpers that are painted in specific colors might be significantly more expensive! I know this for sure because I also repaired a car after an accident and needed a new bumper.'

'What was marked on the bumper were the cutouts for various attachments (AHKs). Someone here has reported this before. I installed the detachable Westfalia hitch, and I didn't have to cut anything or do any modifications!'

Here's another thought: Why don't you go to a parts dealer and try to get a bumper there? It should definitely be much cheaper than buying it from Audi!

The price quotes from my local VW/Audi dealer were for an unpainted (primed) bumper.
If it had cost 500 mosquitoes to get it painted, I wouldn't have complained.

I visited a local spare parts dealer and was informed that rear bumpers for my model are only available for vehicles without a factory-installed tow hitch.
He inquired with two different manufacturers.

Since the right part wasn't available, I didn't inquire about the price. All I know is that the bumper is sold as a complete unit through regular retailers, unlike with Audi, where it's sold in individual parts.

But just to be clear:
It's not about cutting out the aprons (plastic); that's not a problem.
The issue is actually the removal of the bracket (approximately 3mm thick aluminum sheet) which is welded to the outer bumper shell and therefore cannot be removed for cutting.

Best regards, Jürgen.
