Hi everyone!

My engine temperature gauge almost always reaches 90° - the needle points straight up (except when it was -12°C, then it didn't). The oil temperature fluctuates between 75 and approximately 100° depending on the load.

Yes, generally. My new Passat has fixed maintenance intervals (as one of the last 3B models, manufactured in 07 or 08/00, with a 115 hp PD engine), and yet it still has an oil temperature sensor.

Do you have MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication)? Then this is for you.

My 1Z (without MFA) has an oil filter flange with a double hole, a blind screw installed, but there's a cable sticking out of it!

I don't know (yet) where the other end of the possible oil temperature gauge reaches.

My A6 AFN also came with an oil temperature gauge as standard equipment.
You probably know it, it's located at the bottom left [of something].

During longer trips with full load, I also regularly saw temperatures around 130 degrees.

I have an MFA, but it doesn't have an oil temperature gauge (since it's a 3B model, which doesn't include that).
