'The standard boost pressure is between 0.6 and 0.7 bar. However, due to the low-pressure cooling system and reduced charge air temperature, you can increase it to approximately 0.9 to 1.0 bar. The turbocharger is essentially the same as the one used in the 90 hp TDI models, which operate with similar boost pressure values.'
Overall, it's impossible to say exactly what the engine and turbo can handle, as there's an increased stress on the components, and you need to be aware of that. Using a low-temperature coolant (LLK) helps to mitigate this somewhat. Personally, I have no concerns about running this engine with a boost pressure of 0.9 to 1.0 bar. 'Tuners' also typically use values around this range when an intercooler has been installed at a significant cost.
But everyone has to know that for themselves, so don't blame me if something happens anyway.
