Hello,
I want to have a 60/40 suspension installed in my Golf. I've read that you need these types of sway bars if you want to lower the car more than a 40/40 setup. What does that have to do with it, and do I need them even if I'm going for a 60/40 setup?
Thank you for the information, Wolfgang.

My Passat is lowered 60/40, but it didn't need the rods you mentioned. However, I would recommend sport shocks for the front if you're lowering it by 60mm. In the case of series dampers, the springs have insufficient preload.
Oh yeah, and if your Golf has already been driven for a few kilometers, you should probably expect to have to replace the ball joints at some point. They will arrive sooner because of the lowered suspension.
