Hello,

'I'm having a problem with my A4 (1.9L TDI 81kW AFN). It occasionally goes into limp mode while accelerating in 3rd or 4th gear, around 3000-3100 rpm.'

Error code: 575, 17958.
Intake manifold pressure, control differential: 17 - 10.

The error repeats a few times after the ignition is briefly turned off, but then it eventually starts working properly again.

Today, I had the opportunity to log the error using VAG-COM.

There are two files. In the larger file, the error occurs multiple times and then disappears again (all during a trip). In the smaller file, it only occurs once.

However, I don't know how to upload the files here.

Regards,
Jackson.

Hi,

The easiest way is simply to paste it into the post.
Code:
Logdatei Inhalt....

You'll probably be smarter if you delve into the numerous technical articles on the subject of boost pressure control.

Best regards, Rainer.

Hi, it's about 60kb or 19kb as a RAR file... Should I really paste it into CODE?

I've already read several technical articles, but I'm not making progress because the error only occurs very rarely...

Hm,

Do you seriously think someone would read a packed 60kB text? That sounds incredibly boring to me...

"Just 10 lines before and after the emergency mode event are sufficient. And only you know when that event occurred, so you can extract the corresponding section from the log file."

Have you looked at the specialized articles yet? The topic is discussed in detail there.
What have you done so far to isolate the error?

Best regards, Rainer.
