VW Bus T3 with 1.6 TD JX engine glows forever!

Does anyone else experience this problem, and can someone tell me what I need to do about it?
Do you need to replace a relay?
The preheating light stays on constantly, and the car itself seems to be overheating.

If it fails to start, the temperature sensor might be disconnected or faulty, or the glow plug relay could be malfunctioning.

If everything is original, this is one of the two sensors located on the sides of the ZK (likely referring to a control unit or device). The other one is for the temperature display. The third sensor at the front of the ZK is for the after-run pump. One of the cables should be blue/white. Unfortunately, I can't find any resistance values for this sensor. If the sensor has infinite resistance, it is definitely defective. But maybe the cable is just disconnected.
