Water Pump Failure Audi A4 1.9 TDI AFN

I have a small question. It's about the water pump. I need a new one for my A4 1.9L, engine code: AFN. Unfortunately, I'm finding thousands of water pumps, but I can't find one specifically for the AFN engine code. Can anyone tell me if this is something unusual, or would the water pump from the 90 HP model with the 1Z engine fit? They're both from the same model series, one with 90 HP and the other with 110 HP.

I would really appreciate a response, as the water loss is increasing, and I might need to install an additional tank soon *haha*.

1Z and AFN differ significantly; please refer to the search function, as this has been discussed extensively before.

Furthermore, there are years between the introduction of the two engines, so the claim that they belong to the same series is quite a stretch. Well... they are both 827 engines, but that's essentially true for all the larger 4-cylinder engines from VW, including the gasoline versions.

Therefore, the water pump can be the same, but it doesn't necessarily have to be.

Otherwise, the AFN engine is quite common; in fact, it's one of the most frequently produced TDI engines. So, there should be plenty of them available.

Thanks for the tip about the search function, but it didn't help me at all yesterday.

I haven't been able to find anything comparable, except for some discussions that weren't relevant to my search.

P.S. Thanks, Max. The sketch really helped me and confirmed that the fuel pump from the 1Z is the same as the one from the AFN (at least from the year of manufacture 1995 onwards, and mine is a 1996 model).
