I wouldn't try that (unless it's on an LLM that's already beyond saving).
If the device has an output similar to that of an amplifier, with low impedance (which I believe is the case), any attempt to distort the output signal would be practically nullified – only the overall power consumption would increase.
The whole thing would probably work with a slightly lower voltage setting, but eventually something would likely burn out.
