Hello,
I'm having a problem with my lighting. Only the low beam and the high beam flash work. However, when I switch on the high beam, everything goes dark. The fuses and bulbs are fine. The switch is only available as a complete unit with all the controls, and it's not cheap. So, until I'm sure that the switch is the culprit, I'll leave it for now.
The car is a 1993 Audi 80 TDI.
Perhaps someone can help me.
Thank you very much.
Holger.

Then try disconnecting the connector from the light switch/horn and bridging the corresponding pins. That way, you'll see what happens. Of course, you'll need a wiring diagram.
Sure, here is the translation of the text from German to English:
'Addendum:'
If the high beam doesn't work, it's very likely the switch. This is because the high beam relay also operates through the high beam switch.
