Hello!

My Bora Variant, manufactured between 2000 and 2002, with a AJM engine producing 85 kW / 310 Nm, is not running properly.
As I mentioned in another thread.

Since I'm not a DIY person and haven't even purchased...
I'm not sure what else I should have checked, especially now that I've already used the diagnostic tool and had it inspected.

It lacks power, and most importantly, the torque delivery is relatively even throughout the entire RPM range (without any noticeable dips).
Due to the missing maximum speed (182 km/h according to the Climatronic system and confirmed by GPS), which is a decrease of -13 km/h.
Based on the registered top speed of 195 km/h, I estimate that there is a power deficit of 10-15%.

The car has been inspected by both Volkswagen and the Austrian Touring Club (ÖAMTC), and nothing unusual was found; there were no recorded errors.

The MAF sensor is fine and only 8 months old (a test drive with a new MAF sensor didn't improve the situation).
According to the Austrian Touring Club (ÖAMTC), the diesel engine temperature sensor showed 70 degrees Celsius after 30 minutes of driving, with an outside temperature of 27 degrees Celsius and a half-full fuel tank (which I find plausible).

The exhaust system was checked with a clogged (damaged) catalytic converter, but nothing was found.

The car has 71,000 kilometers on it.

Where can I search for items, or where should I start when looking to trade?
AGR?
Fuel injectors (with such low mileage)?
Vacuum system?
Turbo?

When I bought it in July 2003, the mass airflow sensor was already weak, but it still ran.
'With two people inside, it almost reached 200 km/h on the speedometer.'

Furthermore, I have the impression that his condition is getting worse, especially when it's warm outside.
and the turbo lag is likely to be more pronounced (taking longer, even above 2000 rpm).

Best regards,
Herwig.

Bitte gib mir den deutschen Text, den du übersetzt haben möchtest.
Es fehlt Leistung und vor allem Durchzug relativ gleichmäßig verteilt ( ohne Einbrüche ) über das gesamte Drehzahlband.

If you're hesitant about this "effort," then installing a (at least temporary) LDA seems like the only option for now. I suspect it might be due to insufficient boost pressure, but that's just a guess.

"Oil sludge in the intake manifold could also be causing these symptoms, but with only 71,000 km on the odometer, it's probably a bit early for that kind of issue..."

Otherwise: Read technical articles -> common causes of errors, etc.

If you shy away from this 'effort,' then for now, there's probably only one option left.
to install (at least a temporary) LDA system. I suspect the most likely cause is a missing component.
Ladedruck, aber auch das ist schon ein Schuß ins Blaue.

While reading the LDA instructions, I thought that I could try using...
Diagnosis adapters are less likely to cause damage icon_wink.gif.

Okay, here's the translation:

'Now I've bought Rainer's complete hobby kit and today was the first time I tried...'
Here are some logs that attempt to implement the suggested 'systematic troubleshooting' approach.

The accelerator pedal and temperatures at idle seem to be okay.

As far as my untrained eye can tell, the LMM seems to be okay (but only up to about 1800).
is the lowest value for smoke emission).

However, groups 11 and 10 show some fluctuations in boost pressure.
Could you please take a look at my logs and let me know what you think?

Best regards, Herwig.
