Torque Wrench for Wheel Changes: Best Value

Hello, esteemed professionals,
I'm only an occasional DIYer and only tackle the more basic tasks. Since I at least want to be able to change my own wheels, I finally want to buy my own torque wrench. Is a cheap one for 20 to 30 euros sufficient for wheel changes, or are the cheap tools too inaccurate? What should I look for when buying (besides the quality marks), and how much should I spend at a minimum (as I said, only for changing wheels)?

The motto is always: '…don't buy cheap things twice, but buy something decent right away!'

But everyone must decide based on their intended use, needs, and budget.

I can speak from personal experience that a cheap torque wrench is perfectly adequate for rougher tasks like changing tires.
The items that cost around 20 euros usually have a force range of 30 to 210 N.

Where a finer and, above all, smaller resolution is needed, you won't achieve good results with a cheap product. You really need a good tool for that.

So, for just changing tires and occasional minor repairs, a torque wrench for 20 euros is perfectly sufficient.

I understand that cheap torque wrenches aren't the best quality, and I was concerned that even for something as simple as changing wheels, they might be significantly inaccurate or just completely useless. I'm not really willing to spend 80 euros or more just to check the tightening torques of 20 wheel bolts twice a year.

I replaced the head gasket using a torque wrench that cost 25€.
It's been holding up for 15,000 km despite the tuning.
"Affordable doesn't have to mean bad."
It's definitely enough for changing tires.

Take a look at Westfalia. We bought all our tools there. Our mechanic (who loves VAG cars ) swears by them. They are truly 'worth the price.' We also do bigger jobs with them... Your demands will increase. Today you're just changing wheels, tomorrow it will be the timing belt. And then you'll need new tools. So it's better to invest a little more at once.

It literally showered sparks from the mechanism. Check out Proxxon; I was able to loosen the 190nm + 180 degrees with their standard ratchet and extension without anything wobbling or malfunctioning.'

Sorry, I meant the one for 50 euros. This one has been with us for a while and has been perfectly fine, no problems. You can tell just by looking at the cheap one for 25 euros, with its shiny exterior, that it's not very good.

I also have that cheap thing for 25 [currency unit].

I haven't had a direct bad experience myself, but I don't entirely trust the information provided there.

But I wouldn't buy it again, which is why my recommendation is Proxxon.

That probably sounds about the same. He dealt with a rusted-on wheel bolt by using dental floss.
