Hi,
For my Audi (or Volkswagen, depending on the specific model), I want to replace the timing belt for safety reasons.
According to the spare parts catalog, the AFN engine uses the timing belt with part number 028 109 119 P (approximately 37 euros).
If there are no objections, I would of course be happy to have the 'reinforced' timing belt, part number 038 109 119 D (approximately 50 euros), installed.
It's not because of the higher mileage, but simply for a little more safety.
Now the question arises whether this timing belt also fits the AFN engine. As usual, no one at VW can tell me. Therefore, I am hoping to benefit from the experiences shared in this forum.

Best regards, Andy.
