Hi,
I need a new combustion chamber (110 Euros) for my auxiliary heater because a glow plug (17 Euros) was identified as defective. Still, it's better than having to replace a defective felt material (5 Euros) .
Are these spare parts available anywhere else besides auctions, and specifically, are they cheaper than at Bosch service centers? GruĂ Christian

Are spark plugs no longer sold individually?
Please provide the text you would like me to translate from German to English.

Unfortunately, according to other posts and also the schematic diagram on the DataTop CD, it is not compatible with the Thermotop E. GruĂ Christian

I had the same problem and couldn't find a cheaper source. You can often find new combustion chambers on E**y for under 50 euros. I bought one there recently, and it works perfectly.

Okay,
The new combustion chamber has arrived. The glow plug could certainly be replaced individually if one could obtain it separately. However, it's not a standard glow plug; it's a black square with a round white ceramic base.
If anyone has any idea where to find something like this or what Webasto installed, please let me know. GruĂ Christian

I have now replaced the combustion chamber.
I don't need a new felt-tip pen after all, because the felt itself is also looking worn out.
While it hasn't crumbled, it's partially carbonized. There's also a significant amount of oil residue and/or ash in the combustion chamber and the heat exchanger.
Is this normal after a little over 3 years, or could the 5% biodiesel blend be the culprit? GruĂ Christian

"With my ThermoTop C, I could clearly see the presence of paraffin deposits after just one year, and this without using biodiesel (which isn't available where I am). However, the deposits were limited to the combustion chamber; the rest of the system was clean. Do you have a filter installed before the dosing pump?"
