Which Motor Oil: Best Choice & Guide

After my chip tuning, the tuner recommended using a pump-injector motor oil.

Now the question is, which oil should I use?

Is it even sensible to use, for example, the engine oil from a Golf 4 PD (110 kW) in a Golf 3 TDI (AFN)?

No, it is not advisable to use a PD oil that meets the 506 01 specification!

Yes, it can be beneficial to use an oil that, in addition to the necessary approval for your engine, also has the 505 01 approval (PD without LL). For example, LM's DIESEL HIGH TECH 5W-40.
Did the tuner provide any justification for their statement?

Oils meeting specification 506 01 (PD with LL) have a reduced HTHS value, which means these oils MUST NOT be used in your engine!

The clutch didn't last long, or rather, it's been slipping for 1000 km since the tuning . I'm still looking for a clutch for the Golf 3.
