Hello,
I have on my A4 '96 Avant TDI (AFN)
had an oil change.
Now, I would like to reset the display.
I have VAG-Com and an interface, but under STG17
and channel 2 doesn't offer him anything??
Who knows how I can reset this thing without having to go to the friendly, because he wants to see the Euros.
I have a shareware version of VAG-Com and it should work, right??
Then there was also the issue of the AI being broken. I received a different one from the supplier, but it had more KM (kilometers) listed on it than mine.
I tried using various programs, but it doesn't seem to work. I have Windows XP and a 2.6GHz laptop.
I just got a new USB OBD cable. How do you do that, with which program?
Please help, I'm about to give up.
Best regards |

No, it can't save anything. Therefore, it will never, ever, not work.

Okay, you're the best, there's no guide on how to cheat on your speedometer, got it?

Well, it seems like I messed up. That's just the way it goes when you don't think things through. It would be more sensible to inform yourself first before buying.
To achieve this and with the use of your search function, the action would be easy:

HEY HEY HEY,
As a fraudster, I won't be marked.
I would just like to have my old KM stand up. Because now, he has approximately 30 TKm more on the odometer than is actually the case.
It's just that I've tried it with various programs, but it never worked.
I didn't want to remove the speedometer again.
Also, I also have a cable without an intermediate converter, as I mentioned before.
I haven't mentioned the USB OBD adapter solution.
But thank you for the link, I had already searched but unfortunately I couldn't find anything.
But maybe someone knows what I should do with the speedometer now, it wasn't exactly cheap.
Best regards |

You can also contact one of the "tachometer specialists" who can modify your tachometer for a reasonable price.
Or attach a note to the A-board that says:
"Odometer -30000" 94er VW Corrado 16V für die sonnigen Tage im Jahr. Mein Alltags-Fahrzeug:
Golf IV Variant TDI,Bj 2000 mit ALH-Motor und bescheidener Leistung von 90PS -> verkauft
Touran "Freestyle" Modell 2010, BSE-Motor und niedlichen 102PS -> verkauft
Jetzt 2013er Nissan Qashqai 110 Diesel-Pferde |

"No one is saying that, but it cannot be verified here." And, of course, there are no tips for fraudsters who are reading this.

So, then you set 'USB' in VAG-COM...
But without unlocking the VAG-COM (=license), it won't work to save the adaptation channels...
