Hi!
I have the following problem with my Passat TDI, model year 1994, 90 hp (1Z), with 306,000 km:
When driving at a constant speed in the lower RPM range (1500 to 2250 RPM), it jerks or shudders (I can't think of a better word).
Even at idle, the engine speed is relatively constant, but there is still some hesitation. The problem occurs regardless of the temperature.
I took my car to a workshop where the engine control unit was scanned, and no errors were found, not even with the fuel injection pump, which the mechanic had suspected.
The mechanic described the problem as 'sawing' and said to just keep driving and observe

.
I once cleaned the LMM (but it didn't help), and the car is actually still running well. So, it would be great if someone here could offer some advice.
Thank you in advance, BASTI!
