Document: Severe oil leak at the cylinder head, AJM engine (Solution)

AJM, Pump-nozzle engine.
Significant oil leak at the cylinder head.

Cause:
The sealing ring between the tandem pump and the cylinder head, in the area of the ball valve, is deformed. Because the engine oil is under pressure in this area, the oil leak becomes noticeable after only a few kilometers.

Procedure:
Remove the tandem pump and install a new seal (part number 038 109 293).
and use part number 038 109 293 A.
Tighten the upper mounting screws to 20 Nm, and the lower mounting screws to 10 Nm.
