Hello!

On my central locking system (ZVL) for my Audi A4 8E (2003), I have the option, through coding, to automatically lock the doors starting at 15 km/h, and...

+000016 - Hedge unlocking disabled above 5 km/h

..to activate.

The +000016 can also be coded into TCU 46 without any issues, but I don't notice any effect.

The trunk can be opened even when the car is moving at speeds above 5 km/h, as can the rear doors, both from the inside and outside.

Does anyone have a tip as to what this could mean?

P.S.: The rear lid release via a button inside the vehicle does not exist, and the one via the FFB (remote key) also doesn't work if the key is in the ignition. If that's what was meant... icon_question.gif

How did you test that?
Start the engine, then it will lock.
Hold on, he's still there.
As soon as you open the driver's door, it unlocks... or when you remove the key.

The doors lock when you add +32 to it!
It's quite obvious that the doors always open from the inside unless the child safety lock is engaged! And definitely, they no longer open from the outside with the auto-lock feature enabled!

Hi!

Tested with a person weighing over 2nd weight class. > 5 km/h is easily achieved.

Whether it's +32, icon_smile_thumb_up.gif6, or +48 degrees (Celsius), the trunk lid only locks when I press the central locking button on the door again.

And, to be honest, it's a bit silly if all 4 doors are locked, but the trunk remains unlocked. icon_confused.gif

Hmmm, if it's not an Avant model, then the coding is actually 100% correct.
If it really can't be done any other way, maybe the control unit is just malfunctioning.

What is the part number for the comfort control unit, according to the diagnosis?

8E0 959 433 AS

Comfort device T01 1210.

It's a soda, but it really shouldn't matter, because the motor in the tailgate always performs the same functions. icon_smile.gif

433 AS... I think I know the cause, but let me check it first.

Sorry, I had a bit of a time crunch.

Unfortunately, it affected the Bxx series, so it didn't affect yours.

Hi!

What was this sequence about? Did this encoding not work?
