Okay, I've looked into it, and it seems like I would wait until the timing belt needs to be replaced, because you'll have to remove the oil pump. This is driven by a timing chain connected to the crankshaft, so you'll also have to remove the flange behind the crankshaft pulley. Only then will you be able to remove the oil pump.
Here's a question off to the side. Isn't it easier to open the chain rather than removing the flange from the crankshaft sprocket? I'm a bit biased from my experience with KTMs, where I have to disassemble the timing chain every time I open the engine. So, this should also work, right?
Best regards,

Hello,
Subject: Chain opener - brilliant idea, but it requires free chain links to attach the chain opener to. I'm afraid that's not possible here. Or, using only questionable methods that will fail at the latest when it comes to riveting.
Best regards, Robert.

Hello everyone!
Unfortunately, I don't know how tightly the chain tensioner is adjusted on the oil pump drive. There's a possibility that you could loosen the oil pump and tilt it slightly to get the chain off the sprocket. Alternatively, you might be able to access the central mounting bolt by tilting it slightly, allowing you to loosen it. Then the sprocket would remain in the chain drive, and the pump could be removed.
That's a lot of speculation. You just have to try it .
Volunteers ahead

It would be interesting to know what type of chain it is and whether a chain lock is available for it.
