I want to upgrade the factory-installed auxiliary heater (Eberspächer D3W) in my T4 TDI 111kW, manufactured in 2002, to use it as a standing heater, and I have two questions about its control:
'I would like to connect the upgraded auxiliary heater to the timer module already installed for the factory-fitted air heater (Eberspächer D3LC). I've heard rumors that the timer has three switching outputs for two heaters (A, B, A+B), and I would like to know if this is true.'
'I would like to control the factory-installed air heater additionally via the TP5 remote control. I would appreciate it if anyone could share their experiences on whether this is possible.'
The upgrade itself isn't a problem, but there's a special upgrade kit for it, including the clock. I'm not aware of any heaters that come with a clock.
On the other hand, check out www.t4forum.de for information about that problem.
