Hi, I've been following various topics here for quite some time, and I've already found answers to a few minor questions in the forum.
Okay, here's my question. I drive a chipped A3 1.9 TDI PD, and I need to replace the brake discs soon. So, I was wondering if anyone has experience with ATE Powerdisc rotors and ATE Powerpads brake pads? Would this be a worthwhile investment? I've already used the search function, but I haven't found anything specific about that combination. I would appreciate any answers you might have.
Andy.

I've only heard good things about Powerdiscs... but there are also alternatives available. I recently installed slotted brake discs from Zimmermann on the front of my Fabia, and I'm very happy with them. They offer good quality at reasonable prices.

I had bad experiences with the carpenter.
They haven't been completely worn out. Perhaps they still have some life left in them.
The drilling pattern has also been improved. The brake pad and rotor were...
'The surface was heavily scored, as if by a coarse vegetable peeler. The braking performance was then...'
It was really noisy and clunky, especially during sharp braking from high speeds.
'I've never had that problem with Ate Powerdiscs. I'm not familiar with Powerpads, but I generally trust the Ate brand.'
