Hello,

I have a Passat car manufactured in 1994 with a 1Z engine.
Using VAG-Com, I read the following values from measuring block 13:

Cylinder 1: 0.27 mg per dose.
Cylinder 2: 4.98 mg per injection.
Cylinder 3: 4.51 mg Hub.
Cylinder 4: ---

Attached should also be a Screenshot of it.

Am I correct in understanding that cylinders 2 and 3 are being injected with almost 5 mg more per injection than cylinders 1 and 4?
Or what exactly are these values telling me?
According to the target values, they are indeed concerning, aren't they?
Can I adjust something there, or is the pump broken?

The nozzles have only been used for about 15,000 kilometers.

Occasionally, the car produces a significant amount of smoke, but only for a short period. It also tends to stutter or jerk, especially when it's cold.

I would normally use the search function, but I have no idea what keywords to use, and when I tried searching for something else, I didn't find anything.

Please give me some hints.

Greetings.

The nozzles have only been used for about 15,000 kilometers.

Do they come from a truly reliable source?

I purchased the injectors directly from Volkswagen as replacements.

Perform a compression test.

Best regards, Rainer.

P.S.: Are the nozzles already properly installed?

Where is the boundary of the 1Z zone? Is it at +5 or -5?
With the newer models, do the values already reach their maximum at around 3.xx, or am I missing something?

Theoretically, a misaligned engine mounting frame should also be able to cause meaningless values in the idle speed control system (I'll call it "idle speed regulation").

Assuming the MSW (Motor Speed Wheel) is being difficult and not cooperating with the EDC's (Electronic Damping Control) attempts to quickly compensate for imbalances, then the "imbalance" persists, and the EDC has to try harder to correct it, which means setting increasingly higher values in the LLRR (likely referring to a control parameter).

She would do that even if the compression and nozzles are in perfect condition.

The LLR (Longitudinal Load Range) settings are confusing me because the values don't change when I turn the "tuning" feature on and off. This is in contrast to the actual injection amount used for idle operation.

Okay, please provide the German text you would like me to translate into English. I will only provide the translation.
Transparency, Teamwork
... there was another T.

I don't know what the f*ck it was.

Hello,

Thank you in advance for the answers.

The nozzles should be tightly installed. In any case, new seals have been fitted, and there are no external indications that they are leaking.

I also replaced the cables because they were under tension.

I'll measure the compression later. What should the compression reading be for a 1Z engine?

Greetings.
