I logged some data the day before yesterday and confirmed again that my diode is too restricted.
At 3900 RPM, I'm only getting 808 mg/H instead of the full 847.9.

What raises my suspicion is the "drop" in the torque limit from 35.2 to 34.2 (with intermediate values of 34.8, 34.6, and 34.4) above 3200 RPM.

Is it really only dependent on the speed?

I already understand why the air mass is decreasing (Air Mass Value / Lift ≈ Air Mass Value Volts / RPM).

So, does that mean the 1Z (021 AF) starts to "detune" at 3200 RPM?

Hi Martin,

The rotational speed is primarily a function of the RPM. The curve resembles the torque characteristic of the respective motor quite closely, including the derating range – where the rotational speed simply drops off sharply.

Depending on the software, ambient pressure can also play a role, at which point the entire process becomes a 3D keyframe animation.
x = speed (or rotational speed)
y = ambient pressure
z = set boundary.

The downward limitation is quite clear:
As the speed increases (above approximately 2000 rpm), the torque decreases.
If the speed decreases, then the torque increases icon_wink.gif.

Sorry, I missed your last response.

Your torque curve data seems to contradict the software I'm familiar with; in those programs, the torque curve typically resembles known Nm curves.

Alternatively, could you post a full-throttle log from approximately 1300 to 4500 RPM? That might show more details.
