Hi Martin,
The rotational speed is primarily a function of the RPM. The curve resembles the torque characteristic of the respective motor quite closely, including the derating range – where the rotational speed simply drops off sharply.
Depending on the software, ambient pressure can also play a role, at which point the entire process becomes a 3D keyframe animation.
x = speed (or rotational speed)
y = ambient pressure
z = set boundary.
The downward limitation is quite clear:
As the speed increases (above approximately 2000 rpm), the torque decreases.
If the speed decreases, then the torque increases
