HI.
Does the MSA12 or 15 happen to have an output that could be used for a bypass valve?
So, a level that remains for 2-5 seconds after being switched off, triggered by the rising or falling edge of the switch (or at least simultaneously).
Otherwise, I suppose I'll have to build something myself using components like the NE555 timer IC.
Okay, here's the translation:
Thank you.

So, a level that remains for 2-5 seconds after being stopped, triggered by the rising or falling edge of the stop signal (or at least simultaneously). | Hi Martin,
If your 109 is also switched off with a few seconds delay relative to the ignition (you can hear the click or simply measure it), you could obtain your signal, for example, from the difference between the "hot" PIN of the MSW and the cutoff signal:
Engine on -> both show Ubatt -> difference is zero.
Stop -> Stopper leads to -> Difference = Voltage of the battery.
Circuit example using a PNP power transistor:
Emitter to MSW.
Connect the base through a current-limiting resistor to the collector.
(To prevent inductive voltage spikes, connect an antiparallel diode between the base (B) and emitter (E), possibly with a small parallel "RF capacitor" in the nF range.)
Then, when the system is switched off, 12 volts appear between the collector and ground, which you can use, for example, to activate a solenoid valve for the shut-off valve housing. Gruß Ulf

Nope, at least on the MSA12, that 109 reading is immediately eliminated, and it's already been measured.
Oops, that also makes it clear that *it* can't have any "lag."
Can someone use ALE to measure the fun?

However, the transistor then switches off relatively slowly due to the discharge slope (when the capacitor is fully charged), which can lead to higher power losses -> ensure adequate cooling!
To partially mitigate this problem, I would suggest adding another resistor in parallel with resistor E-B, with a value approximately equal to the base resistor. This would allow the transistor to enter the cutoff state more quickly. Gruß Ulf

Nope, at least on the MSA12, that 109 will be shut down _immediately_
Perhaps you should finally install your MSA15 .
Best regards,
Rudi

Yes, yes , I know.
But then there's the precious time... and the thousand other projects.
Does that mean that the 15 is still running? Then I would have already received my signal .
