Hello!
I need to reseal my pump because it has become more than just a little leaky due to contamination with oil. To approach the problem with the necessary precision, I wanted to read the resistance of the flow control element, as described in the manual. However, it doesn't provide this information in a simple format, unlike the transmission temperature, where I get specific values.
I'm now wondering if the problem lies with the old control unit, which may not be able to output the values but only the bits, or if there's a fault in my control unit.
The values are listed in the order of the channels:
0 79
1 19
2 10
3 238
4 0
5 0
6 0
7 0
8 191
9 115
10 2 or 3 (alternates)
After channel 10, everything repeats in the same order. I have measured this on both the cooled and uncooled carriages. Which of these values would indicate the voltage I need? What voltage would that be?
Thank you very much for your help!

Hi.
The engine control unit (ECU) of the AAT 1.0 version only outputs data in measurement block 00.
You can find the data here

I was just writing an article about the problems I'm having getting data from the control unit, and now I've realized that it's not possible due to the design of the unit.
How can I achieve such precise markings so that the pump doesn't surge afterwards, and so that the settings remain the same as before? Unfortunately, I don't have the MFA (Multi-Function Analyzer) described in the technical article.
Thank you very much for your help!

Please don't start a new topic with every post.
As you can see from the link provided by TreckerTreiber, you should pay attention to field 4.
Best regards, Rainer.

Could it be that you have read out the individual measurement values? Unfortunately, these are not documented. As Rainer already mentioned, you can find the injection quantity in group 000, field 4. Unfortunately, you cannot read out the RWG voltage. Simply measure the resistance with an ohmmeter as described. 1993 Audi 80 B4 1Z

Hello!
"How does it work? Where are the relevant connections? I couldn't find anything about it in the manual. Which manual is it in? I've read through everything about the VP 37, but I can't find anywhere that explains how to measure the value..."
Thank you for your help. Bosch offered a price of 340 euros, while a local repair shop quoted between 350 and 400 euros. The parts kit, excluding the shaft seal, costs 6.26.
