Since I unknowingly put my Thermo Top into a state of disrepair about 3 years ago by adding the wrong type of fuel, and now the 35i is being 'completely overhauled,' I removed the auxiliary heater and tried to disassemble it.
The part with the blower and pump was easy to detach (only 2 screws), but it's attached to an aluminum part that is about 15-18mm thick and round. This part can be pulled out about 1.5-2cm, but then it gets stuck. Now I'm not sure whether I should risk prying it apart with a screwdriver and a chisel, or if there's a less forceful way to do it.
I would be grateful for any information (including speculations) and possibly blueprints, etc.!
