Hello,

A few days ago, my Seat Ibiza Cupra TDI displayed the following error message:

After the (cold) start, the engine had very little power. After just a few kilometers, I pulled over to a parking lot, turned off the engine, and restarted it after about a minute. After that, the engine had full power again.

Now I've bought a VAG-COM device and immediately read the error memory. There's something listed there that I'm almost certain is related to this incident.

Code:

1 Fehler gefunden:
18000 -  Signal Höhengeber/Ladedrucksensor: unplausibles Verhältnis
            P1592 - 35-00 -  -
Readiness: 0 0 0 0 0

"It's possible that the control unit just had a temporary glitch, or is something about to fail. The car is still under warranty, so I'll definitely take it to the workshop. According to the error memory, it wasn't just a feeling; there was a real issue."

Greetings from Taunusstein.
Worf.

Hello,
The engine went into "emergency mode"; this will be resolved with the next engine start!
Best regards,
Günther

Please check the mass wires on the front left longitudinal member, specifically near the strut tower, next to the power steering reservoir, and at the ABS control unit.

If any of the points look like the ones in the attachment, or something similar, then you've found your error.
