Golf TDI: Original EEPROM Chips

Hello everyone.

Unfortunately, while playing around with things that shouldn't be touched (like soldering on the engine control unit), I accidentally destroyed the data on my original EEPROMs. Does anyone happen to have the factory-loaded files for the two EEPROMs and could they send them to me?
Engine Control Unit (ECU) Number: VW 028 906 021 C.
Bosch part number 0 281 001 170/171.
Numbers on the EEPROMs: 2 287 358 696 or 7.

As described above, it's a 1994 Golf TDI with engine code 1Z.
It's really a pain when the car stops working; it's definitely a lesson learned; stay away from things you're not 100% sure about.
I would appreciate any help you can offer - after all, it's Christmas tomorrow.

Hmm, I doubt anyone here can help you. Maybe try contacting a tuner like ***; they might have the original data for the EEPROMs. With a bit of luck, they might be able to send you the correct one.

Hi.

If the EPROMs have a small, round window (which should be covered), they are not easily erased (only with UV light). However, it's possible that you didn't follow ESD protection measures (Electrostatic Discharge protection regulations) when soldering on the EDC (Electronic Data Carrier). This could mean that you exposed your EDC board or some of its components to overvoltage damage (only work on it while properly grounded). It doesn't necessarily have to happen, but it's a possibility!

If it helps, here are the specifications for a Passat from 1996, model 1Z, engine 35i. But if you're already planning to get new chips, I have some from ******** or Ah Tuning, although I'm not entirely sure which ones.
