Hello Ulf,
ESM simply stands for "fuel injection quantity."
The story about the academic article is just a story.
Based on what I can see from the posts, I come from the turbocharger industry.
I really need to find the time (which I barely have) to gather some understandable material and prepare it for an article. I need to create tables, generalize key features, etc.
I will get in touch with you when the time is right.
regarding format, procedure, etc.
Regards,
Dirk.

I would then contact you at the appropriate time to discuss the format, procedure, etc.... | Oh dear, formalities are not taken so seriously here.
The main thing is that the result is (mostly) understandable for the local target audience and not written in Kanak language.
If Rainer grants you author status, you can post your draft in an internal forum. Then we can take a look at it in advance and, if necessary, suggest changes.
I'm already excited .
Gruß Ulf

I once disassembled, photographed, and measured a KP39B.
Unfortunately, I don't have a KP39A available at the moment.
Regards,
Thomas.
EDIT: Sorry, at 1600x1200, everything looks so small .

Hi Thomas,
Thank you for the pictures .
Could you please resize it (maximum width of about 700 pixels) and save it again, so that the width of the thread doesn't exceed my screen?
If you don't have a suitable software for that, I can do it and email it to you (but not until tomorrow evening at the earliest).
Gruß Ulf

Hi Mullemaus,
I had always assumed that the small 100 hp TDI engine had the GT15 turbocharger.
Quote: | | In the Passat, the 100 hp TDI engine used the AVB as its engine code. | However, even this engine had the GT1749V turbocharger installed. }
Have I mixed something up? Thanks, haithamina.

No, you didn't. In the Immo system, both were used, just like in the 115PS engine. You can also find a combination of VNT15 and GT17 turbos there. I don't know why, but you rarely understand what Volkswagen is doing.

Perhaps this way, a problem won't affect the entire series immediately?
The corporation is also active in other areas on a daily basis (tires/candles/nozzles/etc.).
