Hi Ulf!
Here we go again, back to the same topic.
I took a look at your link, and it's well-written.
How much further can I advance the start of the injection?
Can you give me some target values that should not be exceeded?
Sure, here's the translation:
"I would be grateful!"
Sure, here's the translation:
"Could you please send me your email address just in case, as I'm still trying to locate the resistor or capacitor. (A6 C4 TDI, AAT)"
STG: 55-pin connector pin assignments.

Hi Marko,

Do not adjust the capacitor beyond the setting that corresponds to the pure speed advance (see also the pump link on Rainer's website).
"Can you give me some target values that should not be exceeded?"
I'm currently trying it out myself. The equivalent series resistance (ESR) still plays a role with 1µF compared to 100 nF.
I want to try and see when the NBF signal stops being detected altogether. It might still take some time...

Is the AAT the 2.5L 5-cylinder engine?
Best regards, Ulf.

Hi Ulf!
Yes, it's still the old 5-cylinder engine with 115 horsepower.
Here's a picture of my engine control unit (ECU) so you can see where the capacitor is located, since I'm not sure myself.
