Hello everyone

I have a problem with my AJM Passat (115 hp). During today's pump and injector element replacement, the engine no longer starts.
Original parts: 0 414 720 005 or VW part number: 038 130 073 ?(F)
now I have installed: 0 414 720 215 or VW part number 038 130 073 AG

Is my control unit not compatible with the new elements??

what can I do?

I have now reinstalled the original components. Now it only runs on 3 cylinders at idle and is very rough (the engine is shaking violently). As soon as you give it gas, it runs normally and the power is as before.

what is different about the new PDE compared to the old one, can I replace parts such as the fuel injector (lower part of the PDE), or the electrical connection of the element simply, or will I break something?

I drove the MWB 23, and the value at cylinder 1+2 is 127, while the other 2 cylinders have values between 60 and 90.

Well, the new PDEs (AG) probably belong to a 100 HP EU4 engine (AXR), but not to the 115 HP one.

It is quite possible that the MSG (Message Sending Gateway) switches to inappropriate opening hours for the AXR-PDEs (Advanced Resource Management and Planning Engines) when playing the organ.

Why did you even change the PDEs?

yes, I have also considered the EU-4 standard.

I now have 135,000 km on the odometer, of which 75,000 km have been with an additional control unit (PSI), and the last 16,000 km have been with a Pöl (and Box) in the 2-tank system.
"I have the problem with the error entry: "Rule limit exceeded".

I have already checked everything else, including the fuel system, auxiliary pump, timing, etc.
Also, even the MWB 23 makes me worry, because after a short ride (even with diesel), the values go above 100, reaching the maximum value of 127 on two cylinders.
Let's assume that the components are worn, as some of them are from the 1st generation. Attempt PD.

Even when expanding the elements, a clear wear and tear is visible. Charcoal residue (carbonization) at the nozzle tip. Whether this is due to the "Pöl" I cannot say, but it would be interesting to examine the components of a diesel-fueled PD (presumably a Perkins diesel engine) with this mileage.

Has anyone ever installed large-sized engine parts from a 150-HP engine into an AJM? This topic has been discussed before, but a definitive result hasn't emerged.
With software adaptation, this is certainly feasible, but what happens if you don't change anything about the engine control?
