Are new fuel injectors needed? Or adjustable?

Is it necessary to replace the fuel injectors if the injection pressure is outside the specified tolerance?
I heard from an acquaintance that he removed the injectors from his Peugeot and had them re-calibrated at a Bosch service center. Apparently, this is done by using shims within the spring assembly. Do you know if this also works with the AAZ?

Yes, the Bosch service can adjust the injectors, which shouldn't be a problem if the spray pattern is otherwise still good. I would just have them tested there.

NO, the TDI injectors cannot be adjusted by Bosch service because the pre-injection pressure cannot be checked. The TDI injectors are centrally serviced due to the complex measurement method (I don't know where). The nozzles of older pre-chamber engines could be adjusted by Bosch service technicians using shims.

Yes, the nozzles should be replaced (all four are recommended) if the injection pressure is outside the specified tolerance.

Yes, the injectors can be adjusted. I'm aware that this isn't possible with a TDI engine, but the AAZ is a TD engine, and therefore the injectors can be adjusted. It's also a swirl chamber engine.

I actually meant the TDI injectors. I missed the fact that the AAZ is an "old" pre-chamber diesel engine, sorry!!
These nozzles can, of course, be adjusted.
