Hello everyone,

I am looking for the pinout diagram of the Seat 'AURA' radio.
Part number: 1M0 035 186 D

The goal of this search is to identify the speed signal that enables volume adjustment while driving.
I need this signal for measuring vehicle speed.

Is this signal located on the comfort control unit?
Part number: 1c0 959 799 E
If so, which pin?

Thank you for all the helpful information.

Best regards, Jochen.

Look over there: http://www.selfmadehifi.de/kfz-iso.htm.
While SEAT isn't directly involved, several other OEM suppliers within the Volkswagen Group are.
Typ89 SB: 05/2000 120.000km - 01/2005 295.000km (unfall)
B5 Avant AEB 07/2005 166.000km ([email protected]) - 07/2007 195.000km (verkauft)
1K BMM: 03/2011 120.000 km - aktuell

3 = NF mass.
4 = Front left line-out.
5 = Line-out, front right.
6 = Switching voltage (remote).
7 - 12 = manufacturer-specific configuration (display / steering wheel controls).
13 - 20 = manufacturer-specific assignment (CD changer / DAB).

Connector pinout - ISO standard (chamber B).

1 = Right rear speaker (+).
2 = Right rear speaker (-).
3 = Right front speaker (+).
4 = Right front speaker (-).
5 = Left front speaker (+).
6 = Left front speaker (-).
7 = Rear left speaker (+).
8 = Left front speaker (-).

Connector pinout - ISO standard (chamber A).

1 = Speedometer pulse (for speed-dependent volume or navigation, depending on the manufacturer).
2 = Mute phone (depending on the manufacturer).
3 = Mute phone (depending on the manufacturer).
4 = Constant power +12V (terminal 30).
5 = Switching voltage for antenna or amplifier (remote control).
6 = Dashboard lighting (terminal 5icon_cool.gif.
7 = switched positive (terminal 15, via ignition switch).
8 = Ground (terminal 31).

You can also find color-coded diagrams with the corresponding pin assignments on the autoextem-forum (source for pin assignments).
