Golf 4, Year 1999, Alh, 203000km, everything original....

Hello everyone,

I came across some documents about fuel converters on the Pierburg website while browsing the internet today. There was information on how they work and also how to check them.

Then I measured the voltage at the connector with the 'ignition' switched on... it was only 7.5 volts icon_eek.gif. Instead of the expected 12V. 'Then, even with the engine idling, no rectangular signal is actually being applied, is that correct?'

Unfortunately, I don't have an oscilloscope to check this.

Can someone confirm this???

Yes, even with a stationary engine, the throttle ratio is specified, and this is also stated in the MWB.

Hi,

As Malte already wrote, you always have a PWM signal at the magnetic valves.

Even with a pure DC voltage, the MV (Micro-Venturi) systems no longer function reliably. A certain pressure difference is required on both sides of the membrane; otherwise, it starts to pump. So, am VAC-Ausgang gibt es kurze Vakuumabfälle.

The working range is normal, typically between 15-85% PWM.
